Elliott

Elliott was my precious baby. We had him for more than 14 years but he went into kidney failure so we had to let him go. I already have his blanket ready, and I will bring him home and bury him here, so that we can be close to him.

We got our Elliott on July 4 1989, he was only 8 weeks old, and he was like a little snowball. He was a Somoan Husky/Shepherd mix, and he was Albino. He had pink ears, pink tongue, and pink eyes when you looked at them just right. He gave us so much joy, and I miss him terribly, and I always will. His only toy was a tennis ball, he just loved his tennis balls, and a brand new tennis ball was buried with him, here at our home in Northern California.

I'll be alright for awhile, and then I just burst out in tears, and can't believe it is happening. My daughter called me to try to sooth me, and she told me I was doing what is right for him, but it still hurts.
